Prices include bilingual guide services, lodging land and in country air transportation, park and special entrance fees, all meals as shown.

They do not include tips, flights from/to your home country, airport taxes, international or local phone calls, laundry services.

Terms and Conditions

In order to make a reservation you must send a pre-established amount according to the services contracted by wire transfer, Pay Pal, or ACH transfer to a U.S. Bank at the time of booking . Please contact ReConTur for payment and account information.

Final payment for all services is due 60 days prior to arrival.

We reserve the right to adjust the prices according to market conditions with due notice. .

ReConTur recommends that travel insurance be taken to cover against cancellation fees, loss or damage to baggage and costs arising from acts of God, e.g. Cyclones, flooding, inconveniences caused by weather or providers, for property loss or damage encountered during the tours, etc. We invite you to visit our page

Personal health, insurance papers should be brought along with your passport. Passports should be valid for at least six months or more from expiration to travel to Panama.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the extensive organization involved, a strict cancellation policy will be applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenues. Once any payment is made the following cancellation policy will apply:

Notification of cancellation must be received in writing. Unless otherwise stated, the following policy applies:

• If cancellation is received up to 90 days prior to arrival, we will refund 100% of the trip, unless there is a charge applied by the providers contracted.
• If cancellation is received between 60 and 89 days prior to arrival, we will refund 50% of the trip, unless there is a charge applied by the providers contracted.
• Cancellations between 31 and 59 days, we will refund 25% of the trip, unless there is a charge applied by the providers contracted.
• No refund is possible for cancellations 30 days or less before arrival.

All cancellations must be received in writing (e-mail, fax or letter). The postmark date will be considered the valid date of cancellation. Refunds will not be made to participants who do not complete any portion of the tour for whatever personal or medical reason, once in the Republic of Panama.

Traveling Information

The Panama La Verde Birding Circuits  will not accept any responsibility for inconveniences caused by weather or providers, or for property loss or damage encountered during the tours. Personal health, insurance papers should be brought along with your Passport. Passports should be valid for at least six months after your departure to Panama.

Panama La Verde Circuits require walking, with a maximum walking time of one hour, often over rocky or sloping surfaces. The effect of the warm climate also needs to be remembered. We encourage you to be fit enough to make the most of your experience.

For manageability and due to limited space aboard vehicles, think about travelling light and with a small day-pack for you to carry inside the vehicle cabin with your binoculars, camera, etc., for each day’s adventures.

We suggest you include the following essential items in your luggage; walking shoes, sun screen, hat, bathing suit, flash light, camera, binoculars, insect repelent and all your medicines and medical prescriptions.

Itineraries

Panama La Verde Birding Circuits, via its land operator Recontur, reserves the right to cancel or alter tour itineraries as deemed necessary. Tour operation, or alterations may occur due to road or weather conditions, strikes, public holidays and accommodation availability etc. The company gives no guarantee as to the exact arrival or departure times as circumstances beyond our control may influence this.
