Eco-tourism seems to be making a huge push through the tropics these days. Especially with the conservation concerns that surround many species in the western hemisphere. After traveling through Latin America extensively for the last eight years I have concluded that Panama is the front-runner.

My trip to Panama with the Panama La Verde birding circuit showed me the excellent infra-structure that the country provides. The birds in Panama are exquisite, but the ease of traveling around shines even brighter. I have since learned to dismiss any negative words about Panama in light of my life-changing trip down there. The weather is warm, the locals set a new standard for hospitality, and the birds are exciting to say the least! My next trip down to Panama will certainly be more than a week!
